The application is intellegent and will customise both its operation and settings automatically to suite any echolink node either client or sysop.  Using commercial development techniques has resulted in a polished and resilant application that will form the basic framework for all our work with the Echolink system. There are many more applications to come.

The EchoTone System has been redeveloped from the ground up to improve on the inital release of this great addin for Echolink. The system now permits a non sysop node to run EchoTone and various improvements in the codestream. The Sysop support includes normal morse idents plus a highspeed (low amplitude) ident for repeaters and gateways and the option to provide an additional beacon on every (n) beacons to provide additional information such as location etc.
